PARENT INFORMATION

     Your child has the opportunity to participate in a unique 2-part character education program,

"Climb -4- Success". An assembly, "K9's -4- Kids", will be presented at your child's school.  The values of kindness, trust, respect, and responsibility will be introduced and reinforced with the help of trained Labrador Retrievers performing a routine of tricks. The above values will be related to the training of the dogs, successful family interaction, academic success, and appropriate peer interaction.

     In the second part of the program, your child will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive learning experience. Your child will have an opportunity to climb "Vertical Fun", a 24 foot portable climbing wall with 3 levels of difficulty. Your child will learn the importance of positive self-talk, the importance of setting and working towards accomplishing short term goals, and the importance of participating in positive group interaction. This program will also benefit your school. A preset percentage of the total contributions collected will be given to your school as a donation from U-Grow Adventures. Below are the steps to make "Climb -4- Success" a fun and educational experience for your child.

• Help your child set a goal of how many times they would like to climb Vertical Fun and what prizes they would like to earn.
• Determine the amount of contributions your child will need to collect from family, friends, and relatives to meet their goal.
• Record on the spaces provided on the back of this envelope the name, address, and amount of contribution from each person.
• MAKE ALL CHECKS PAYABLE TO U-GROW ADVENTURES.
• Total the donations and put the total $ amount on the bottom line on the back of the envelope.
• Also put the total $ amount on the TOTAL DONATION line at the top of this side.
• Fill out all information at the top of this side.
• If your child has earned a T-Shirt, check the correct size.
• Sign the consent and release form on the back of the envelope.
